Touching

Well...almost touching!

It is so exciting to have things grow.

Here is what our trees (and Jeffrey and Brandon too) looked like in July of 2002.

Paper Craft

I wanted to hang something round in this grouping, like plates. (This is above my opening between the old and the new in my house.) I have always liked plates hung on walls. (I don't have any but have admired them in magazines.) I found this idea when I was looking for something else. So I started experimenting. I was originally going to hang them in a straight line but kind of liked the haphazard way. I just stuck them up with masking tape and moved them around a bit to where I like them. I don't think I'm done yet. I think I need a few more. But I was excited and wanted to post my idea. I'm planning to make some big ones for other places in my home.
I stuck a couple in this grouping also.

Green Canyon

We just got back from a fabulous week at swim camp. Camille, Alexa and Drew were in lessons. It was extra fun this year because we had other family there. Dennis' sister, Dianne, and some of her family were there. Dianne had 7 of her grandkids in lessons.

It was fun to sit and visit during the lessons (two one hour lessons everyday.)
Jeffrey and Brandon worked on merit badges.Tuckered out.
One night we had smoke from a fire that was 40 miles away.

Jeffrey took Camille and Heidi up to the top of a rock over our camp.
Dennis' dad and brother, John, came up on Thursday.

The boys climbed up the mountain.

At night everyone was so tired. We put on a movie and kids dropped off the sleep.

Fun Stuff

We got our bathroom and laundry room finished!!
The high school woods shop built our cabinets. I really like them!We bought pre-fab counter tops for both rooms.
A few years ago I got a new kitchen sink because the one I had before was so small. We saved it and here it is in its now location.
Mary and me being a weight while the counter top was being glued and anchored.

New rug and towels

This is the shower curtain that I have not hung yet.
