From left to right: Jenny Moser Manlove, her husband, Jon, Aunt Kaye Moser, Kyle Moser and Jennifer Moser (the maker of the dress). They were in Idaho for a 50th wedding anniversary. I was so happy they came to visit!

Adorable!
My cousin's wife, Jennifer Moser made this dress for Mary with old-fashioned smocking. I just love it!! !! !!

My mom hemmed it and I sewed in the button holes and buttons.
And here is Miss Chicken Pox herself.
The dress was hand delivered by Jennifer, all the way from Alabama.

Sister's Retreat
Darcee organized a party in Park City! We had so much fun!
Andi, Mom
Kelsie, Darcee holding Greta, Julianna holding Jonas
Mom, Danna, hanging out in our jammies!
Kelsie, who is due in 5 weeks, had to stay behind as we went up on the ski lift to ride the slide down the hill. She also stayed with the two babies so their mommies could ride. What a sweetie!

Eagle Project
Before:

Jeffrey invited over an ironing board-bearing friend. We also borrowed a board and an iron from separate neighbors.
Setting up at the church.

Keeping the machines going was almost a full time job!

Lots of awesome helpers!

Finished product!
A very special thanks goes to one person who was not in any pictures. Darcee called me up one day and asked if she could be Jeffrey's Eagle Scout Coach (I think she made it up but it sounds very official, don't you think?) I was thrilled! She encouraged Jeffrey to find a suitable project (These 27 baby blankets are being donated to Bingham Memorial Hospital. The H.R. lady told me that many moms take their babies home without anything to wrap them it! I was shocked but grateful for a way to serve.) Darcee also walked Jeffrey through getting his signatures. She did it all over the phone. One phone call a week and an occasional e-mail was all it took. I was able to take over when we started doing the actual project. Now she is coaching Jeffrey as he finishes up his paperwork. This is such a wonderful service! Jeffrey has responded well and has done all that she has asked him to do.
Thanks also goes to everyone who donated fabric. We were able to do many more blankets than if we had bought everything on our own (that was the original plan). President Dance let us borrow his ironing board (a strange request, he said.) Colette let us borrow her iron (her board is attached to the wall and that is why we had to call Dances.) Thanks also very much to those boys and moms who came to help.

Also much thanks goes to my mom for bringing her serger, sewing machine and cutting equipment. She spent lots of time servicing her serger as a pin was serged over. She also changed broken needles and "unstuck" her sewing machine many times. (Eventually we declared that adults were working the machines--I'd hoped that boys could do all the jobs with a little supervision.)
All in all it was a great day and we truly appreciate all the help we received!

Jeffrey!
Time to show off Jeffrey. He is a great kid and he is growing up so, so fast, both in years and height. I was amazed as I looked at pictures from just a year ago and it is plain to see that Jeffrey has matured tons in the past year! Wow.

Long jumping.
Playing the piano. (He is getting good, too!)
Here are a few pictures from when Jeffrey and I got to go to California with Dennis on the 8th grade trip. What a wonderful time we had! Very special memories. One little story... As Dennis and I were looking at the 80 or so kids who were on the trip, I asked him, if he could choose, which kids would he choose for Jeffrey's friends (Jeffrey goes to a different school district than Dennis teaches in so he didn't know a single kid--and neither did I.) Without hesitation he pointed out 3 kids, two were twins.

I was tickled pink when Jeffrey and those 3 boys became friends without any coaching from his parents. Here he is with the twins, Mark and Ryan.
Jeffrey is an awesome brother to his siblings, especially Mary and Drew.

We're lucky that between Jeffrey and Brandon, we get our lawn mowed every week.
Did you ever have a Spirograph? I found an old one at a thrift store. Jeffrey has loved it.
He also loves his Rubik's cube and can solve it very fast!
He has runs cross country. This was the meet at Soda.
He was excited to get his very own game of Life for Christmas.
Tie tying lesson
Jeffrey and Brandon are best friends. It makes me happy that they get along so well.
Jeffrey with some Hansen cousins. I love how happy all of them look to be together. It doesn't happen often enough!
Jeffrey enjoys basketball and plays church ball.
Hangin' out with Jonny at the Bingham reunion.
Jumping in the canal with Brandon and a friend.
Jeffrey is well on his way to being an Eagle scout. I'm proud of him for his diligence and hard work (pictures coming soon). He is an easy going kid and fun to have around. I'm so grateful that he chooses the right and honors his priesthood. Being the 1st born, he performs a vital service to his siblings... he sets a wonderful example. I am grateful for all you do, Jeffrey! I love you!
