Good Thing for Spring Break

This past week was my spring break.  It is a good thing because I had several school related items of the kids to go to.  On Wednesday I went to Camille's 5th grade spelling bee.  She was one of the top 4 in her class to go.  All to the 5th grade classes sent 4 for a total of 36.  She made it to the 5th round before she went out.  She was about 8th overall.  Wednesday afternoon was "Read with a Relative Day" at Drew's school and Mary and I enjoyed being with him.  Thursday morning was the talent show where Brandon played the drums.  It is quite the process because we had to haul his drum set up from under the house Wednesday night and then assemble it on a rug where he could mark where each piece would go.  We then loaded it into the suburban that night.  The next morning we got to the school early so we could set it up before the assembly.  His friends helped him get it set up on stage. He was the next to the last number.  While he did not win any prize, he was the crowd favorite.  I told him that this was his best reward.  He will tell more about his performance on his blog.  Here are some pictures of activities.
