-throwing everything from a shelf of the pantry on the floor
-breaking a mason jar in the process (an empty one, gratefully)
-carrying a full jar of honey into the living room (gratefully again, she was unable to get the lid off)
-emptying all her drawers every time the bathroom door is left open
-dipping her clothes that she gets from her drawers (which are in the bathroom) in the toilet
-emptying out the drawers of the kitchen too many times to count
-climbing onto the table
-pushing a chair to the cupboard to reach something she wants
-falling into the tub while I'm showering (twice!)
-turning on the phone on unbeknownst to me so no one can call for an entire night (this when Dennis was camping with the boys and needed to call!)
I told my kids that Mary needs a t-shirt that says, "Here comes Trouble!" Camille thought it was a great idea! (Could it be that she needed a similar shirt when she was a similar age to Mary? Camille's exploits include dumping a bottle of shampoo on the carpet, dumping out spices and throwing her plate full of food at the wall--and that was all in one day--and I'm not kidding!) (Dennis thinks the shirt should say "Here comes terror".)
But it is so endearing when Mary says, "Mom, mom, mom, mom, mom." Those are her only words so far (except for her darling and constant chatter). And she cuddles like no other. How I love this sweet little one!

Blogger won't let me fix my spacing! Does anyone else have this problem?
LOL! I think Mary and Olivia could be twins and double the terror! Mary is just SO beautiful!
After reading this Dennis reminded me of one more. Mary flushed a big bar of soap down the toilet. We were clued in when it profusely overflowed and we couldn't plunge out the clog. Dennis had to take the whole toilet off to discover the soap. (He hosed it down outside. And did he do it discreetly in the back yard? Of course not! Our john was on display for hours while it air dried for all passerbys to see!)
I read this aloud to my kids. Hope was beside me and mimmicked Mary's: "Mom, Mom, Mom . . ." She's doing now as I say this aloud! This age is too much fun!
Mary is a doll!
We have a tornado at our house too. We have baby proofed what seems like everything, until the next incident. Tessa's latest is swinging on the oven door like a monkey until it opens. Yes, oven locks are on the list. Today she was outside with her brothers and got away. She was found feeding the neighbor's baby rocks. So much fun!
Ha! Ha!
Everyone needs one of these!
The ones that are into lots of trouble but melt your heart!
